This is the cloud based technology that moves application plans down to your device and application records back up the MySOYLsync. Once the application records are back in MySOYLsync they can be downloaded to compatible farm record keeping software, for example Gatekeeper.
You must order a “wifi+cellular” iPad to ensure your device has the correct positioning technology. For mobile data at all times you will need a SIM card for your iPad (data only SIM cards cost between £5 and £10 per month). If you are happy to download near a wifi hotspot – perhaps the farm office or farm house then you won’t need a SIM card. If you have a smartphone you can “tether” your iPad to the phone to share it’s mobile data capability if your contract allows this.
We can source iPads if required but we recommend you purchase one from a local Apple approved reseller or from one of the many online Apple retailers.

Yes, for farmers outside the UK we can convert application files that you send us in shape file format into iSOYL format which you can then download into the iSOYL app. If you don’t have shape file application maps let us know what you do have and we can probably find a solution – This email address is being protected from spambots. Yes, we have an API that allows you to send shape application plans from your application via our web services to iSOYL. Early in 2015 you will also be able to call this API to find out if the application plan has been used and how much product was applied/drilled.
